Adamjee Government Science College (Adamjee Science College) is an educational institution in Karachi, Pakistan. It was established by the Adamjee Group. It is located in the heart of the city, near the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah (the father of Pakistan), in the area of Garden East (Jamshed Town) on Business Recorder Road, Karachi.
The college is famous in local academic circles.The college attains good results in the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examinations, with its students attaining top positions in the examinations held under the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi.
The college was inaugurated in 1962 by the "All Pakistan Memon Educational and Welfare Society" through the donation of the Adamjee Family. The college was nationalized during the government of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Prime Minister of Pakistan as part of a large nationalization campaign encompassing various sectors, including education, and was renamed to Adamjee Government Science College.
Admissions to the college are administered under CAP (Centralized Admission Policy),according to which students are admitted on merit determined by their matriculation marks.The minimum closing marks on merit list of college are usually highest compared to those of all other government colleges.
